What to know about the current invitation-only Windows beta.
How do I receive a license?
Request access through Dropship Calendar. Approved beta users receive a license key and installation instructions directly from support.
Can I use one key on multiple computers?
No. The current license permits one registered computer at a time. If you replace your computer, support can release the previous registration before you reactivate.
Does Cantero Madera require Chrome?
Yes. The current desktop runtime is built around the official Google Chrome installation rather than a patched or privileged browser.
Why might Windows show “Unknown publisher”?
The current beta installer is not Authenticode-signed. Windows may therefore identify the publisher as unknown. Only use the installer supplied through the official Cantero Madera access process.
Is everything processed only on my computer?
No. Cantero Madera is a desktop workspace, but licensing, approved service connections, updates, and disclosed product analytics use their respective online services. Review the Privacy Notice before installing.
